Quick Updates
Tomorrow, the Goobie and I are flying to Houston to spend a few days with my parents. I'm terrified of the hour long flight. Wish us luck.

6 Month Milestones
- keep head level with body when pulled to sitting. YES
- say "ah-goo" or similar vowel-consonant sounds. YES
By six months, your baby will probably be able to:
- bear some weight on legs when held upright. YES
- sit without support. YES
- turn in the direction of a voice. YES
- razz. YES
By six months, your baby will possible be able to:
- stand holding on to someone or something. YES
- object if you try to take a toy away. YES
- work to get a toy that's out of reach. YES
- pass a cube or other objct from one hand to another.
- look for a dropped object.
- rake with fingers a tiny object and pick it up in fist.
- babble. YES
- feed self cracker or other finger food.
By six months, your baby may even be able to:
- creep or crawl.
- pull up to a standing position from sitting.
- get into a sitting position from stomach.
- pick up tiny object with any part of thumb and finger.
- say "mama" or "dada".

We started solids on Saturday!
....and messy.
He's just getting rice cereal for the next two weeks. Then we'll start adding a new fruit or vegetable every 5 days. Yum!

Happy 1st Father's Day!
Today was Goob's first real smile!!! I was just taking some pictures of him and J for Father's Day when all of a sudden he just smiled! I screamed for J to look at him and then tried to take a picture, but since I have the slowest camera ever, I didn't get a shot of him. So I tried to make him smile again but acting crazy. I had my camera aimed and ready and he did!!! And then he smiled again!! We've never seen his face light up like this. It was the most amazing moment.
And you can really tell he's his father's son by his eyes. They narrowed when he smiles, just like Daddy!
